FY 2013 state budget passes House

The Massachusetts House of Representatives recently adopted its version of the FY 2013 state budget - a $32.3 billion spending plan that increases spending on education by more than $150 million. For the first time in more than a decade, the Association did not have to fend off hostile proposals to harm charter public schools. The budget now goes to the Senate and we will remain vigilant.
